happy christmas

As I am flying off to Sydney at 7:00am tomorrow morning and will not be able to post anything for a few days, I would just like to wish you a very merry Christmas.
No matter what you're all doing, whether your spending time with family, chilling by yourself, partying, just having a small get together or all of the above, I'm sure you'll all find the merry Christmas spirit to keep you happy all day long.

And here's a poem cause I felt like being a little corny:
Be My Christmas Gift

If you sat beneath the Christmas tree,
You’d sure add to the décor,
But even if you were gift wrapped, dear,
I couldn't love you more.
You have to know that if I had you,
I’d have the gift I’d most adore,
Better than any expensive gift
I could purchase in a store.

Spent the majority of my day lying in my long green grass drawing, reading, writing, eating one of the best salads I have ever made and sun baking in the sun with my dog. Got to love summer holidays.

germany

Last night one of the most amazing friends I have ever had left to go back home to Germany. I didn't cry when I was at the airport saying goodbye, but when I got home, snuggled into my sheets and read the letter she'd written me I cried myself to sleep. I am going to miss her so much, our inside jokes our long coffee nights.

I just have to remember that in less than six months I will see her again in Paris. Feels like a lifetime.

It's time for work sugar plums! I got a sleep in today so I am as happy as a fluffy pink bunny!

My auntie Pam had a new grey kitten called Tiffany and now I really really want one! The stupid this is my idiot brother decided to be alergic to them, so I'll have to wait until he leaves home... or I could not... and that would get him out sooner...

sleep in's needed

This holidays I intend to fill with long needed sleep in's that I have been craving for so long. I find it physically impossible to sleep in at the moment, because every other day of the week I have to wake up at 7:00am, so the longest I can sleep in on Saturday mornings is 8? 9? And I want to sleep until 12 like I use to! Hurry up please holidays, you're taking too long.

Just plain boredom...

Sitting at home in the heat, with the windows open, the fan on full and my music up loud, trying to figure out what to do with the open hours of my day that is left, due to a cancelled shopping trip, other than blog all day. But, that does sound like an attractive idea. Maybe I'll make a salad and lie in the sun with a book, work on my 'tan'.
