sleep in's needed

This holidays I intend to fill with long needed sleep in's that I have been craving for so long. I find it physically impossible to sleep in at the moment, because every other day of the week I have to wake up at 7:00am, so the longest I can sleep in on Saturday mornings is 8? 9? And I want to sleep until 12 like I use to! Hurry up please holidays, you're taking too long.

Just plain boredom...

Sitting at home in the heat, with the windows open, the fan on full and my music up loud, trying to figure out what to do with the open hours of my day that is left, due to a cancelled shopping trip, other than blog all day. But, that does sound like an attractive idea. Maybe I'll make a salad and lie in the sun with a book, work on my 'tan'.

happy birthday rachel

On the 11/11/10 was my best friend Rachel's 15th birthday. I bought her an inside pot plant for her room, with rain forest moss, pink daisies and a glass snail, and three different colours of nail polish. Then that night we went out for dinner with her Grandparents, family and our brother from another mother Jacob.

Happy Birthday my pretty little friend! I hope your day was as perfect as you imagined it would be. Love you always!

I would just like to point out that when I made that last post and checked for spelling mistakes, THERE WAS NONE! And that makes me happy, because I never really have been much of a speller but I'm really improving! How exciting for me!

little shrub

I did my bit for the environment today, and planted a pretty little shrub, that will grow and bloom pretty little white flowers. I have christened my little shrub Debby, and I will try to upload a photo of her tomorrow, when the sun is up, and I will update you on her growing process. HOW EXCITING!

I am addicted to technology, I'll admit it, but if I didn't know it existed, I'm sure I could live without it. I would prefer to.
